Tutor Time of Troy has offered early education in Troy, New York, since January 2003. Our daycare and preschool is near Defreest House and Defreestville Volunteer Fire Company. We are accredited by NECPA. On the job, our staff hold CPR and First Aid certifications and a Medication certification.

We serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-K. Our school offers the state-funded NY Universal Pre-K (NYS UPK), with details to share when you visit. Third-party tuition assistance is welcome, so bring questions to your tour. Babies explore through Learn from the Start®, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K invites problem-solving with classmates, like preschoolers testing how different materials fit together.

Multi-Sports lets children explore team sports with friends, and Spotlight on Phonics focuses on key early literacy skills. Find each option on this page. Our building includes an indoor gym, where children can be active together. Our indoor playground gives children a place to play and explore indoors. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.
